2014 – Results

The first Canadian National Kubb Championship is in the books.  On Saturday June 7th under a beautiful blue sky (with plenty of tree coverage for shade) the tournament was a resounding success.

It was unfortunate that Domes/Mulligan could not attend the tournament due to unforeseen circumstances.

After 3 rounds of qualifying play, 8 teams moved on to the brackets.

The Finals were set and the Bronze medal game was announced.  The spectators gathered around to watch :

King Kung came out victorious after going down in the first game.  The Bronze medal winners were King Kung.

This set up the Gold Medal matchup of epic proportions.  The crowd gathered around the pitch to watch this showdown.

Evan Fitzgerald’s inkasting technique proved to be too much for Gungnir and the Goofy Kubbers 1.6 won the first Canadian National Kubb Championship!
